A bi-weekly conversation in Zoom, every second Saturday at 8am Pacific Time, inspired by the world building session with Trimtab Space Camp Mesosphere visionary Tony Patrick in 2020. In our conversations, we mused that we were a World Weavers Web, weaving synergetically as a synarchy, rather than in the dominant mode of dominating over nature as architects and builders, and collectively agreed to change the name of the group to World Weavers.

Design Science is a shorthand for what Buckminster Fuller named his discipline for coming up with inventions: “Comprehensive Anticipatory Design Science.”
Comprehensive
to see the big picture and recognize the synergy of the whole.

to visualize a preferred future and work towards it.
Design
to align intentions with values and navigate directions with purpose.
Science
to observe and describe patterns as generalized principles and laws of nature.
Life is the foundation upon which we create value. Life, as qualitative experience, is beyond quantification. Life is the dynamic process of co-creation through interconnected relationships in flow.

Comprehensive
Design justice recognizes and challenges the historical and systemic inequities perpetuated by design practices.
Anticipatory
Design justice aims to center the voices and needs of marginalized communities, ensuring these communities are at the forefront of design solutions that address their unique challenges and promote inclusivity.
Design
Design justice plays a pivotal role in revolutionizing systems, policies, and structures from healthcare to education, transportation to technology.
Science
Design justice promotes equal access, amplifies marginalized voices, and shapes more inclusive and sustainable solutions to reconnect and reintegrate the syntropic organism of life that has been disconnected by the modern industrial machine of death and entropy.
A Lens
Design justice becomes a lens to guide us as we map the territory of the human heart and navigate metaphysical gravity. As Buckminster Fuller articulated in his poetry of art and science, “Love is metaphysical gravity.”
